Acrylic — Fabric Care Guide
Acrylic is a synthetic fiber that resembles wool. It is soft, warm, lightweight, and more affordable than real wool. Commonly used for sweaters, scarves, hats, and socks. Acrylic doesn't absorb water so it dries quickly, but it generates static electricity easily.
Care Instructions
Machine wash on gentle cycle at 30-40°C. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Iron at low temperature (110°C).
Tips
- Wash in cold water to prevent stretching
- Don't tumble dry on high heat — it may melt
- Use fabric softener to reduce static
- Turn inside out before washing to reduce pilling
