Nylon — Fabric Care Guide

Nylon is a very strong synthetic fiber that is elastic, quick-drying, and abrasion-resistant. It is commonly used for underwear, stockings, swimwear, sportswear, and bags. Nylon cannot withstand high heat and may melt, so care must be taken when ironing and drying.

Care Instructions

Machine wash on gentle cycle at 30°C. No chlorine bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Iron at low temperature (110°C).

Tips

  • Wash in cold water to preserve fabric
  • Separate from items with zippers or hooks
  • Dry in shade
  • Never iron on high heat — nylon can melt
