Polyester — Fabric Care Guide
Polyester is a synthetic fiber derived from petroleum. It is strong, durable, wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying, and shape-retaining. Often blended with cotton for added durability and reduced wrinkling. Commonly used for sportswear, workwear, and everyday clothing.
Care Instructions
Machine wash on gentle cycle at 30-40°C. No chlorine bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Iron at medium temperature (150°C).
Tips
- Wash in cold water to prevent permanent creases
- Separate from cotton to reduce pilling
- Remove from dryer immediately
- Use fabric softener to reduce static
