Silk — Fabric Care Guide
Silk is a natural protein fiber produced by silkworms. It has a lustrous sheen, is soft and smooth, and is considered luxurious. Silk breathes well and regulates body temperature, but it is extremely delicate and requires special care. It is easily damaged by water, heat, and chemicals. Thai silk is world-renowned for its beauty and quality.
Care Instructions
Hand wash only in cold water, or dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry in shade. Iron at low temperature (110°C) with a pressing cloth.
Tips
- Hand wash in cold water with mild soap
- Never wring silk
- Always dry in shade
- Store in dark place to prevent fading
- Always use a pressing cloth when ironing
