Wool — Fabric Care Guide

Wool is a natural fiber primarily obtained from sheep. It has excellent insulation properties, breathability, some water resistance, and natural elasticity. Wool comes in many varieties such as merino, cashmere, and angora, each with different softness levels and price points. Wool shrinks very easily when exposed to hot water or strong agitation.

Care Instructions

Hand wash or use wool cycle at maximum 30°C. Do not bleach. Dry flat. Iron at medium temperature (150°C) with a pressing cloth.

Tips

  • Use wool-specific detergent
  • Don't soak for too long
  • Never wring wool
  • Dry flat to prevent stretching
  • Store with moth repellent
