Stain Removal Guide: Oil, Coffee, Blood, and More

Removing stains requires choosing the right method for both the stain type and fabric type.

Golden Rules of Stain Removal

  1. **Act fast** — treat stains immediately
  2. **Blot, don't rub** — rubbing pushes stains deeper into fabric
  3. **Test first** — test stain remover on a hidden area
  4. **Check the label** — review care symbols before using any chemicals
